Since the beginning of 2026, 4.74 thousand cubic meters of hardwood lumber have been exported from the Kirov region to Vietnam. This was reported by the regional office of the Rosselkhoznadzor.
During a single shipment on March 19, specialists monitored a batch of over 1.2 thousand cubic meters of wood. Before shipment, the products were checked for compliance with the requirements of the importing country.
To do this, agency staff took samples and sent them for laboratory testing. The research was conducted at the Kirov branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "VNIIKR."
As a result of the inspection, no dangerous quarantine objects were found — all products were deemed safe. A total of 29 phytosanitary certificates were issued for the export batches.
