A loud incident occurred in the city of Vyatskie Polyany on Krupskaya Street. The fire broke out in a two-apartment private residential building. The flames managed to engulf an area of 10 square meters — enough to create a critical threat to the entire structure.
Ten emergency ministry employees and three units of special equipment were urgently dispatched to the scene. Fortunately, the flames were quickly localized, preventing the destruction of the house. However, unfortunately, there were casualties. As a result of the incident, one person was injured.
Investigators have already established the preliminary cause of the fire. It was a banal, yet no less dangerous, negligence. As it turned out, the owner of one of the apartments was careless while smoking. An unattended cigarette led to serious consequences: the very person responsible for the incident ended up among the injured.
In addition to this case, during the reporting period, rescuers responded to the aftermath of two traffic accidents and assisted in other emergency situations.
