VyatGU students are the best engineers and programmers in the Volga Federal District: the results of the XI Intellectual Olympiad of the district have been summarized.

      At the venues of the Olympics held from March 26 to 28 in Saransk, the strongest teams met, demonstrating an unconventional approach to solving complex problems. The Kirov region confirmed its high status by rising to the podium, and students from Vyatka State University made a key contribution to the region's success.

      As a result of all the competitive days, the Kirov region team won an honorable II place overall. This result was a logical outcome of hard work, bold ideas, and the cohesion of the participants.

      Particular attention should be paid to the performances of students from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at VyatGU, who left no chances for their opponents in two key areas. In the "Engineering Teams Competition," the team consisting of Alexander Lutoshkin, Alexander Kosarev, and Yuri Ishchuk won the absolute first place in the Volga Federal District. Our engineers proved that they possess the most modern approaches to design and solving applied technical problems. In the area of "Programming of UAVs" (unmanned aerial vehicles), students Yegor Sibiryakov and Alexander Starikov also reached the highest step of the podium, becoming the first in the Volga Federal District. Their competencies in the field of UAV development and management confirmed the high level of the engineering school at VyatGU.

      "Our students consistently demonstrate outstanding results in a wide variety of fields. The comprehensive and in-depth training that the guys receive at VyatGU allows them to unlock their potential not only in their specialized areas but also far beyond them," noted VyatGU Rector Valentin Pugach.
