In April, the Social Fund of Russia will begin disbursing the annual monetary payment to participants and veterans of the Great Patriotic War. This is timed to coincide with the celebration of Victory Day.
The amount of the payment is 10,000 rubles. It is provided to citizens who directly participated in combat operations during the years of the Great Patriotic War. The right to receive the funds is retained not only by veterans living in Russia but also by participants of the Great Patriotic War residing in the Baltic States, including Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.
The disbursement of funds is carried out automatically based on existing data. No additional requests from veterans or their relatives are required. This was reported by "RIA Novosti."
