The body of a 66-year-old man with signs of violent death was discovered on March 30 in one of the houses in the village of Karaksha in the Yaran district. A criminal case has been initiated regarding this fact.
As reported by the regional investigative committee, during operational activities, investigators together with the police established the involvement of the deceased's wife in the crime. According to the investigation, the tragedy occurred at night. The woman, being in a state of intoxication, inflicted several stab wounds on her husband during a quarrel. The man died at the scene from the injuries sustained.
The suspect has been detained and has already been charged. She admitted her guilt and provided detailed testimony. In the near future, the investigation intends to petition the court for the woman to be taken into custody.
The investigation of the criminal case is ongoing.
