Icy conditions, rain, and almost summer warmth — a complete forecast for the coming days.

      In Kirov, the spring warming is gaining momentum, but, as often happens in April, the weather is preparing several surprises for the residents. According to the updated forecast from duty forecaster S.A. Kasyanova, the most comfortable and calm day in the near future will be Thursday, April 2.

      Tomorrow, the weather will be determined by variable cloudiness. Residents of the regional center will be able to enjoy a truly warm day: the air will warm up to +15…+17℃. No precipitation is expected on this day, and the wind will remain moderate (eastern, 4-9 m/s). However, motorists should be cautious during the dark hours: forecasters warn of nighttime icy conditions, which could make morning trips on April 2 dangerous.

      However, preparations for changes should begin by the evening of Friday, April 3. Although the night will still be relatively warm (+3…+5℃), the weather will change during the day: clouds will replace the sun, and light rain will begin in some areas. The temperature during the day will drop slightly, reaching +13…+15℃. The wind will shift to the southeast, remaining within the same range (4-9 m/s).

      A real test for city dwellers planning dacha work or walks over the weekend will come on Saturday, April 4. According to the meteorological service, cloudy weather with brief rain is expected in Kirov, which may last all day. In addition to the usual spring dampness, the wind will strengthen: if at night gusts of the southwest wind reach 9 m/s, during the day, with a shift to the west and northwest, the speed will increase to 5-10 m/s.

      The temperature background on Saturday will also become more modest: at night +2…+4℃, during the day the thermometers will stop at +11…+13℃. This is still significantly above the climatic norm, but due to the rain and wind, it will feel cool.

      It is worth noting that, compared to the regional territories, the center of the region finds itself in a more advantageous position. While in the districts of the region, rain may already occur on Thursday, and moderate precipitation is expected on Saturday, in Kirov, the main weather "surprises" will only begin closer to the end of the work week. Icy conditions, posing a danger to pedestrians and drivers, will persist on the roads during the dark hours on April 2 and 3.
