In February, prices in the Kirov region increased by 0.5%. The annual inflation rate was 7.1%. For comparison, the average in Russia is 5.9%. At the same time, experts from the Bank of Russia note that inflation was even higher in the past.
The agency also reported that in February, due to an increase in milk production, the price of butter decreased in the Kirov region. Among non-food items, prices for televisions, computers, refrigerators, and washing machines fell. One of the reasons was the strengthening of the ruble.
