Governor Alexander Sokolov signed a decree on salary indexing starting from April 1, 2026. This will affect employees of state institutions. The increase will range from 4.7% to 7.3%. In particular, salaries will be raised for educational workers in kindergartens, schools, technical schools, colleges, additional education institutions, and orphanages, as well as for doctors, middle and junior medical staff, archive workers, cultural sector employees, social workers, and youth workers. During the meeting, Sokolov also recommended indexing salaries in municipal institutions.
