The Kirov educational institution paid with money for hiring a former inspector.
The Prosecutor's Office of the Lenin District of Kirov checked how the rules for combating corruption are being followed at the KOGAУ "Center for Quality Education Assessment." The reason for the oversight agency's intervention was doubts about the legality of hiring one of the new employees.
During the inspection, it was revealed that the institution had hired a specialist who previously worked in the state labor inspection. By law, when employing a former official or civil servant, the organization has a strictly regulated period to send a notification to the last place of service. The "Center for Quality Education Assessment" ignored or simply forgot this mandatory anti-corruption procedure, violating the established order.
The prosecutor of the Lenin District considered this oversight a serious violation and initiated an administrative case under Article 19.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, which provides for punishment for the illegal employment of former civil servants.
As a result, the guilty official of the institution was held administratively liable. The penalty for the violator turned out to be monetary — the court imposed a fine of 20,000 rubles.
The prosecutor's office noted that thanks to their intervention, violations of anti-corruption legislation were completely eliminated. Now the institution knows that when hiring candidates with government service experience, formalities must be strictly observed.
