Kirov residents were told what to do if they are flooded.

      According to the city administration, such a meeting took place in the area of the former Simonovskaya sloboda. Specialists from the May Day territorial administration, the supervisory activities department, and the preventive work of the Ministry of Emergency Situations informed residents about actions to take in case of a significant rise in water levels.

      Kirov residents were also informed about measures to protect property, gathering places, and temporary accommodation for citizens, as well as the requirements for fire safety regulations. All participants in the meeting were given handouts with action algorithms and emergency service numbers.

      The city administration noted that in the future, information about the water level rise in the Vyatka River and safety issues will be posted on special boards, on the pages of territorial administrations, at the local activity center (9 Klubnaya St.), and on the social network "VKontakte."

      It is worth noting that according to forecasts from the Kirov Central Geophysical Monitoring Service, the opening of the Vyatka River in the city of Kirov is expected to occur between April 4 and April 12. However, today, March 30, Kirov residents noticed that the Vyatka has already opened in the area of the "Titanic" beach.
