      The Deputy Director General, head of the ecological center of the regional operator Sergey Voronin presented the results of the Eco Center's work for 2025 at a meeting of the committee on ecology and natural resource management of the Legislative Assembly of the Kirov region.

      The foundation of the speech is a key principle: the effectiveness of the waste management system is directly determined by the involvement of residents. Infrastructure, logistics, and container sites yield maximum results when residents understand their significance and engage in the process.

      The national project "Ecological Well-Being" sets the goal of involving 25% of waste in secondary circulation. Achieving this indicator is ensured through the development of ecological culture and the formation of sustainable behavioral practices. The true vector of the system's movement is the involvement of each person in the sorting process, starting from the household level.

      As of the end of 2025, more than 34,000 residents of the region participated in separate waste collection. Additionally, over 6,000 people took part in Eco Center events, and the development of the ecological movement is supported by more than 200 volunteers, whose contribution exceeded 1,200 hours. Over the past year, the volume of collected secondary raw materials at the regional operator's eco-objects increased from 42 to 69 tons.

      The Eco Center acts as a link between the population, businesses, and government authorities, creating a unified space for ecological culture and practices.

      The regional operator thanks the deputies of the Legislative Assembly for their attention to the ecological agenda and support for systematic work in this direction.
