Oleg Valenchuk: The fate of Russia is in reliable hands
The festival, chaired by State Duma deputy Oleg Valenchuk, has long become not just a summer musical event, but a large-scale year-round project, the main goal of which is to actively promote patriotic education among youth.
The video contest titled "The Fate of Russia is in Your Hands" is being implemented with the support of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives and represents a unique opportunity for children and teenagers to express their thoughts and feelings on important issues concerning the future of the country.
In total, the contest has brought together more than 320 participants. The videos have come from different corners of the country. Among them are works created by students of media studios, school groups, and stories filmed on mobile phones together with parents, grandparents, and simply neighbors from the landing.
One of the works from the media center "WeThink" of the Capital Lyceum in Izhevsk (led by Vera Vaulina), despite the apparent simplicity of the plot, raises a very important topic of adolescent loneliness, showing how important joy of communication, mutual understanding, and family support are for children.
Oleg Valenchuk emphasizes that for young people, patriotism is not empty words, but real actions, creativity, and the desire to change the world for the better. Participants not only create videos but also engage in deep reflections on events that reflect our past and define the future of the country.
"Such contests help young people realize their role in society," notes Oleg Valenchuk. "The works of the participants show that the younger generation is ready to take responsibility and actively participate in the life of the country. We see that the future of Russia is in reliable hands!"
The application submission has ended, and the jury has begun evaluating the works. The names of the winners will be announced on April 10. The laureates of the contest will be determined in various nominations and awarded diplomas and cash prizes.
