Shishkin or Kanash: a new member of the Public Chamber will be elected in the Kirov region
Today, at the committee meeting, the deputies discussed the issue of approving a member of the Public Chamber of the Kirov Region from the Legislative Assembly. It became known that the procedure for filling the vacant position was initiated on February 19. Since then, applications for the consideration of two candidates have been received from local non-profit organizations.
The first candidate is Yulia Kanash, the chair of the regional branch of the All-Russian Trade Union of Life Support Workers and a member of the Public Chamber of the Kirov Region of the fifth convocation. The second is Nikolai Shishkin, a veteran of the Special Military Operation, a participant in the "Vyatka Corps of Defenders of the Fatherland" project.
The committee members unanimously recognized that both candidates meet the requirements of regional legislation. No questions arose regarding them. Ultimately, the deputies supported both Kanash and Shishkin. The final decision will be made at the plenary session of the Legislative Assembly.
