The appeal was not canceled: for beating a child, Andrey Ivanov will pay 50 thousand.

      Let us remind you that the court proceedings related to the brutal beating of a child on May 4, 2023, in front of passersby and video cameras, have been ongoing for almost three years. The initial court decision regarding the compensation amount for Pavlik (name changed) of 80,000 rubles (at the end of December 2024) was overturned and reduced to 50,000 due to the "lack of proper notification of the defendant about the start of the process." This was later used repeatedly by Ivanov, as he either "did not reside at his registered address" or "was on a business trip in China."

      By the way, in the appeal of the first — 80,000 ruble — court decision, not only Andrey Ivanov participated, but also the Kirov police, which the court, recognizing the fact of the schoolboy's beating, effectively obliged to initiate a criminal case against the co-owner of "Iskozh" (4.28206 percent of shares; Alexander Ivanov has 50.00117 percent).

      The police, addressing the appellate instance, explained the refusal materials by stating that there was no hooligan motive in the actions of Ivanov's son, and the beating of the child was committed out of "personal animosity." This created a unique precedent allowing for unpunished child beatings. At the same time, it is possible that the investigation was convinced that it was permissible to hit someone else's child, but exclusively within the framework of a momentarily arisen feeling of animosity.

      However, Kirov kindergarten or school teachers never took advantage of this, nor did they administer slaps — even under the official police postulate of "animosity" — to minor, adolescent, and pubescent volitional individuals.

      Moreover, the beating of Pavlik, as eyewitnesses recounted, was not just a simple slap, but "the attacker — a strong and large man, having knocked the child to the asphalt, began to strike." The man was in a rage, and it seemed he would beat the boy to death: "He screamed so terribly that the child wet himself out of fear." The beating only stopped when passersby rushed at the "frenzied man" and pulled him away from the schoolboy.

      By the way, Andrey Ivanov filed a complaint with the police against the eyewitnesses of the child's torture who testified in court, demanding their prosecution for "knowingly false testimony." Only last summer did the police finally produce a "refusal material," as the words of the witnesses were confirmed by real video footage, and Ivanov did not hold the "lying surveillance camera" accountable, which likely forced the authorities to recognize it as a "proper witness."

      This cannot be said about the Lenin District Court, where the video recording did not become the indisputable evidence of "physical violence against the boy" in contrast to the defendant's claim that he "just talked to the child." Moreover, Pavlik, as Andrey Alexandrovich claimed, had beaten — and had done so regularly before — his twin sons.

      Thus, by the court's decision, Pavlik's parents were ordered to pay moral damages to one of Ivanov's children (according to a counterclaim) — five thousand rubles for, if one fully trusts the impartial video recording, "a blow to the backpack." And the court hardly pleased the "Iskozh management" — as the demand was for 300,000 rubles. And probably because, in the worldview of the "master of life," supported by Lenin's Themis, the significance of his backpack is six times more valuable than the life and health of an "ordinary schoolboy."

      By the way, after the incident, Pavlik's mother, whose husband was on a special military operation, immediately reported to the police, especially since her child was sent on sick leave until the end of the school year. But in July, the woman clearly understood that the authorities had rallied behind Andrey Ivanov, blaming everything on... her 9-year-old son, who managed to avoid criminal prosecution only due to his age being below the age of criminal responsibility.

      Moreover, in the materials of the police investigation, the "incident" was described as if a 48-year-old man, at the moment of the second grader's attack — out of pain and terror — had wet his pants, which allowed Pavlik to be placed on preventive registration with the Juvenile Affairs Department (as having committed an administrative offense). There, Pavlik was listed for a year and a half until in October 2024, the Regional Court overturned the decision. Noting that Andrey Ivanov's children were not beaten by the schoolboy.

      In March 2026, the Regional Court "upheld" the decision of the first instance and ordered the defendant to pay the child he had beaten 50,000 rubles in "moral compensation."
