Passersby saved the girls who had fallen through the ice.

      The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Kirov Region reported an incident that could have ended in the death of children. On Sever-Sadovaya Street, two 11-year-old girls went onto the ice of a pond and fell into the water.

      Fortunately, the girls were rescued by witnesses: they pulled the children out of the water and called an ambulance. The arriving medics examined the children, and hospitalization was not needed.

      The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region reminds about the dangers of going onto spring ice: in spring, the ice on water bodies becomes loose and fragile, and one can fall through the ice and drown. Parents are warned about the necessity of monitoring their children's free time and informing them about the deadly dangers of going onto the ice, especially in spring.
