The incident occurred on January 8, 2025, at the bus stop near house No. 84/1 on Oktyabrsky Avenue. As established in court, a man grabbed two children by their hoods in front of passersby and slammed their faces together. As a result, one child sustained a bruise on the nose, and the other had injuries around the eyebrow and eye, which qualifies as minor harm to health.
The defendant stated that he became angry due to the children's behavior — allegedly, they were throwing snowballs at passing cars.
The court found the man guilty and sentenced him to one year of corrective labor with a portion of his earnings withheld for the state. Additionally, a compensation for moral damage was awarded to one of the victims — 50,000 rubles.
Later, the sentence was reviewed on appeal: the court recognized the commission of the crime against minors as an aggravating circumstance. However, the punishment remained unchanged.
