Utility debts can block access to loans.
According to "Energosbyt Plus," in the case of prolonged non-payment, information about the debt may be transferred to the Credit History Bureau. This will lead to a decrease in credit rating and will effectively complicate or even make it impossible to obtain loans, including mortgages. It is noted that banks take such information into account both when considering an application and after issuing a loan. If there are doubts about the client's solvency, financial organizations may take measures—such as reducing the credit limit, blocking the card, or demanding early repayment of the debt. Information about the debt is stored in the credit history for up to 10 years and is accessible to all potential creditors—banks, microfinance organizations, and other entities. The company emphasizes that timely payment of utility bills is necessary not only for the stable operation of infrastructure but also for maintaining the financial reputation of citizens.
