Kirov residents have started ordering portraits of veterans for Victory Day.
In the "My Documents" centers, the acceptance of applications for the free creation of portraits of veterans of the Great Patriotic War has begun. Since the start of the campaign, about 50 requests have already been submitted.
The service started on February 10 and is available for the first time this year in all MFC offices in the region. As noted by the director of the Kirov multifunctional center, Nikolai Nagaev, specialists are ready to ensure the quality production of portraits, but residents are advised not to delay submitting applications to be ready for the festive events.
The deadlines for submitting applications vary depending on the district. Until March 31, portraits can be ordered in several municipalities, including Arbazhsky, Afanasyevsky, Belokholunitsky, Verkhnekamsky, and other districts, as well as in Vyatskiye Polyany. In most other districts of the region, as well as in Kirov, Kirovo-Chepetsk, Kotelnich, and Slobodskoy, applications are accepted until April 17.
To apply for the service, a passport and a photograph of the veteran are required — any paper photo will do. MFC staff will assist in filling out the application, where it is necessary to provide the details of the war participant, including full name, years of life, and rank (if available).
Applicants will be notified of the portrait's readiness via SMS or through a messenger. However, it can only be collected at the office where the application was submitted.
