Thus, the limits for using the simplified taxation system (STS) have increased. Income should not exceed 490.5 million rubles, and the book value of fixed assets should be no more than 218 million rubles.
In addition, the rates for value-added tax (VAT) have changed. The basic rate is now 22%, and the reduced rate for socially significant goods is 10%.
For those who use STS and are paying VAT for the first time, special rates have been introduced. If the income of the company or entrepreneur is between 20 and 272.5 million rubles per year, the rate will be 5%, and if it is between 272.5 and 490.5 million rubles per year, the rate will be 7%.
