Today, the administration reported that the poplars had not been pruned for a long time, resulting in overgrown branches that began to wither and dangerously lean. To prevent them from falling on someone's head, the authorities decided to cut them down completely. "As practice shows, poplars grow back quickly and by August they can be green again," officials added.
