The authorities explained why workers "trimmed" the poplars on Proizvodstvennaya.
Recently in Kirov, on the boulevard section of Proizvodstvennaya Street (from Moskovskaya to Vorovskogo), workers roughly "chopped" the poplars, turning the trees into sticks sticking out of the ground. This caused outrage among local residents.
Today, the administration reported that the poplars had not been trimmed for a long time, resulting in overgrown branches that began to wither and dangerously lean. To prevent them from falling on someone's head, the authorities decided to cut them down completely. "As practice shows, poplars grow back quickly, and by August they can be green again," officials added.
By the way, tree trimming work is also being carried out on Ukrainian Street, 4th Five-Year Plan, and Shironintsev Street. In the near future, it will begin on Uspenskaya, Vsesvyatskaya, and the XX Party Congress Square.
