      The mortgage lending market for private homes in the Kirov region is experiencing a serious decline. According to analysts from the "Cian" company, from January to April 2025, only 197 mortgage loans for the construction and purchase of private homes were issued in the region. This is four times less than in the same period last year. Residents of the Kirov region more often choose to build their own homes rather than buy ready-made ones. Of all the mortgage loans issued for individual housing, 58% were for construction and 42% for the purchase of already built homes.
