A museum dedicated to the life and work of Albert Likhanov will open in Kirov. It will be located in the house where the writer grew up. This building in the area of the Zasor ravine was built by his grandfather, Nikolai Likhanov. After the author's death, the relatives decided to transfer the property to the ownership of the region.
The new museum will become part of the Kirov Local History Museum. The opening will begin with a solemn ceremony for the laying of a commemorative stone, which will take place on July 7 at the intersection of Likhanov and Kazanskaya streets. On that day, a new plaque with the name of the street will also be installed on house No. 15.
