Earlier, residents of the village of Malye Ryabi reported contamination of a spring that many use as a source of drinking water. The cause was flooding of the area with wastewater due to an accident on the sewage collector on Dzerzhinsky Street.
After receiving complaints, specialists from the Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology, at the request of Rospotrebnadzor, conducted sampling and laboratory testing of water quality. According to the data obtained, bacteria that should not be present in drinking water were found in the spring.
Rospotrebnadzor warns: water from this source must be boiled before consumption. It is also not advisable to use raw water for washing vegetables and fruits or for cooking.
