One person died in a fire in the Kirovo-Chepetsky District.

      Over the past 24 hours, four fires occurred in the Kirov region. The regional office of Russia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM) reported on two of them.

      In Kotel'nich, on Sverdlov Lane, a private house caught fire. The fire covered an area of 180 square meters. The blaze was fought by 10 EMERCOM personnel using four pieces of equipment. The suspected cause of the fire is a stove malfunction.

      In the village of Kuchumovshchina, Kirovo-Chepetsky District, a private house burned over an area of 200 square meters. Eight employees of Russia’s EMERCOM and the regional fire-rescue service worked at the scene, and three pieces of equipment were used. One person died as a result of the fire. Who he was and what caused the fire are not yet known.
