Bus No. 90 dropped off the residents of Lomovskaya village at the taxi.

Since January 1, bus No. 90 no longer reaches the CHP-5 stop. Its terminus is now in the Kurochkiny settlement, and this has seriously complicated life for residents of the village of Lomovskaya. To get to town they either have to walk almost three kilometers or wait for a transfer bus.

The authorities offered an alternative — a free transfer: an additional shuttle between Kurochkiny and CHP-5 runs every 30 minutes. But in practice the system works poorly. Residents complain that the timetable is not being observed and there are long gaps between buses. Sometimes the wait stretches to 30–40 minutes, which in freezing cold and snowfall becomes a real ordeal.

According to locals, everyone suffers: schoolchildren, parents with small children, and the elderly. Recently a young mother refused to wait 35 minutes for a bus in the cold with her four-year-old child, who had recently been ill. She called a taxi — instead of the usual 40 rubles the trip cost 210. Now the woman fears that a significant part of the family budget will go toward trips to kindergarten and the clinic.

Earlier we wrote that residents of Lomovskaya had warned about possible problems back in December. People doubted the transfer system would work because of operator failures and schedule disruptions. Ultimately, those fears were confirmed in the first days of January.
