A new pre-trial appeal mechanism for suspensions of real estate registration has come into effect.

      Now citizens whose property rights have been temporarily suspended may file an appeal against the decision with appellate commissions specially established at Rosreestr.

      Applications are considered within 15 business days from the date of registration. The outcome will be sent to the applicant by letter or other means of communication.

      Where to apply:

      Central Appellate Commission — if the suspension concerns enterprises as a property complex or objects located within the territory of several cadastral districts (for example, railways, gas pipelines).

      Regional Appellate Commissions — for other real estate: residential and non‑residential premises, land plots, and capital construction projects.
