A schoolgirl from Belaya Kholunitsa reached the final of an international mathematics competition.
A schoolgirl from the town of Belaya Kholunitsa advanced to the final of the 12th GS Group International Mathematics Competition “I Decide!”. This year 6,501 schoolchildren participated, and only 30 people from across the country reached the final stage.
Among the finalists is 11th-grade student Maria Suvorova of the V. I. Desyatkov School with advanced study of selected subjects. To reach the final, participants had to solve eight difficult problems of various formats — from classic problems to tasks in number theory and combinatorics.
The final round of the competition will take place on February 7. Based on its results, five winners will be chosen among eleventh-graders. They will receive named scholarships of 180,000 rubles each, which will be paid in the 2026–2027 academic year upon enrolling in a university in certain fields of study.
