A man from Kirov searching for a stash in a snowdrift was caught by Rosgvardiya officers.

      At around nine in the evening, a Rosgvardiya non-departmental security patrol, while on duty, noticed a suspicious passerby in the settlement of Bolshoye Skopino. The young man was searching for something in the snow and bushes, was visibly nervous and kept looking around.

      When the Rosgvardiya officers appeared, the Kirov resident picked up a small packet containing a dark green substance. Flustered, he did not even try to run away or hide the find.

      The 25-year-old man explained that he had ordered the narcotic online for personal use. A police investigative team was called to the scene. The packet was seized and sent for analysis.

      The detainee was taken to the police station for further investigation.
