Oleg Valenchuk: The "Bright Vyatka" contest has become a symbol of neighborly friendship
For the second year running, residents of the apartment buildings on Potrebkooperatsii Street have set an example of good neighborly relations. Although just a few years ago the site where these buildings now stand was an empty lot, today a whole neighborhood has sprung up here. Young families quickly found common ground, joining forces to address the improvement of their territory. One vivid example of such neighborhood unity are the flowerbeds that the residents of 36 Potrebkooperatsii Street planted by the entrances. They presented the results of their work at the Gardeners' Union contest "Let's Decorate the Motherland with Flowers," where they won a well-deserved victory.
The residents of the neighborhood are convinced that comfort and beauty should be preserved in the cold season as well. That is why a large number of entries for the winter contest "Bright Vyatka. Winter Tale" came from the Kurochkino settlement.
"A good example is contagious," says Ekaterina Kochurova. "That is why more and more residents are starting to take the initiative and join the common cause — creating beauty and comfort. Thanks to Oleg Valenchuk for such contests, which helped us meet our neighbors, make friends and become one big family!"
Those who work well rest well. That is why families and friends came to the celebration featuring the main New Year characters: Ded Moroz, Snegurochka and Zimushka-Zima. They sang songs, joined in round dances, and the little ones happily enjoyed the sweets given to them by the New Year's magician.
The "Bright Vyatka. Winter Tale" contest is coming to an end, and on January 15 the winners' names will be announced; they will be published in the Telegram channel and in the official "Gardeners' Union — Kirov" group on VKontakte.
"I am sure there will be no losers," notes Oleg Valenchuk. "After all, the 'Bright Vyatka' contest has become a symbol of neighbors' unity and friendship. The main thing is people's initiative, their desire to come together to solve common tasks. The Kurochkino settlement has become a fine example of how joint efforts can change the appearance not only of individual houses but of an entire area. A spirit of unity and creativity reigns here, which allows people to improve their living environment together."
