A 41-year-old guest stole a Kirov woman's headphones worth 10,000 rubles.
A 25-year-old city resident filed a theft report with Police Department No. 1 of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Kirov. According to her, several pairs of headphones worth a total of 10,000 rubles were taken from her apartment.
According to investigators, the day before the incident the woman met a man on the street and invited him to her home. They drank alcohol together, and after the guest left the woman noticed the items were missing.
Police quickly identified the 41-year-old man and detained him. The perpetrator admitted that he had sold the stolen headphones to random passersby and spent the money on personal expenses.
A criminal case has been opened under Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (theft causing significant damage), and an investigation is under way.
