In the Kirov region, a schoolboy will be paid 150,000 rubles for an injury on a tubing slope.
In the Kirov Region a court ordered the owner of the "Usadba Ivana Tsarevicha" amusement park to pay compensation to a 10‑year‑old schoolboy who was injured near a tubing slide, the press service of the Kirov Region Prosecutor's Office reported. The incident occurred in January 2025 during the New Year holidays. Fourth‑graders from the school in the village of Ob'yachevo in the Komi Republic had come to the park in Slobodskoy District. One of the children was near the slide when he was struck by a snow tube. Doctors diagnosed the boy with a fractured clavicle — an injury of moderate severity. No criminal case was initiated over the incident; however, the prosecutor's office defended the child's interests and filed a suit seeking compensation for moral damage. The court granted the claim. The individual entrepreneur was ordered to pay the schoolboy 150,000 rubles. The prosecutor's office will monitor enforcement of the decision after it comes into legal force.
