More than 40 people were injured on the ice in Kirov Oblast.

      Inspections are carried out jointly with specialists from supervisory authorities: staff travel to the site, document the situation with photos and videos, and monitor citizens' reports and media publications. Particular attention is paid to snow banks at crossings, poorly cleared courtyards and stretches where equipment does not appear for weeks.

      A shortage of equipment and personnel was identified in Kotelnich and the Sretinskoye rural settlement. The prosecutor's office notes that this is what led to injuries to residents — this winter alone 7 people were injured in Kotelnich, and more than 40 across the region. Formal notices have been issued to the heads of the municipalities.

      In Kirov problems were recorded on Herzen, Kazanskaya, Svobody, Preobrazhenskaya, Krasina, Chapaeva, Turgeneva and Solnechnaya streets, on Dinamovsky Drive, on the staircases of the Grin Embankment and in adjacent residential areas. The Pervomaisky District Prosecutor's Office sent six official notices to management companies.

      In Kirovo-Chepetsk snow banks are accumulating around crossings and on the roads along Lenina, Volodarskogo, Pobedy, Yubileynaya, 60 Let Oktyabrya, the Vyatskaya Embankment and other streets. A formal recommendation was made to the head of the administration, and a warning was issued to the head of MKU “DES”.

      In the rural districts the supervisory authority secured the signing of contracts for road maintenance in 2026 — previously in a number of settlements contractors had not been selected at all. A failure to carry out the selection of organizations and tender procedures was identified in the Yaransky, Sovetsky and Omutninsky districts and in the Vyatskopolyansky district.
