MAX Security Center reported on its results for 2025. Together with the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, specialists helped detain more than 40 people involved in attempts to steal money from citizens.
Thanks to the messenger’s cooperation with cybersecurity companies, over 700,000 suspicious accounts were blocked and more than 1 million malicious files were removed. Law enforcement also managed to free over 100 people from the influence of fraudsters. As part of an anti-fraud project with Sber, users were saved more than 300 million rubles.
The center notes that specialists work around the clock: they use automated systems and manually review user reports. This year alone, about 600,000 messages were received via the "Report" button, and the average processing time did not exceed five minutes.
