Law in the Service of the State: Students of Vyatka State University Met with the Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Kirov Region

      The events in the "Conversations about Service" series, organized by the Government of the Kirov Region and the Institute of Corporate Governance of the Kirov Region, are intended to cultivate students' motivation to choose state or municipal service as a professional path.

      "It is very important to hear firsthand about the thorny but glorious path of state and municipal service," emphasized Elena Makarova, Deputy Director of the Institute of Corporate Governance of the Kirov Region. Addressing the students of Vyatka State University was the Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Kirov Region, Roman Beresnev. In a live dialogue format, students and the speaker delved into a discussion of the essence of service, how it differs from a job, and the variety of forms it takes in the modern world.

      "Service is a mission, the goal toward which you strive your whole life," noted Roman Alexandrovich. The Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Kirov Region, whose life path is marked by many years of service to the state, shared:

      "For me, an example of service to his country and his people is our president, Vladimir Putin. His tireless work, meticulous preparation for every event, erudition and depth of thought inspire sincere admiration."

      Students asked the speaker many questions about the prospects of public service, the integration of artificial intelligence tools into it, the region's potential and plans for its development.

      Roman Alexandrovich generously shared his knowledge and experience, and presented the most active participants of the meeting with commemorative gifts — books about the cities of Russia's Golden Ring.
