Kirov residents can anonymously report troubled families and children who are in danger.
On December 25, Kirov will hold a hotline on issues related to the protection of children's rights. From 9:00 to 11:00 residents will be able to report dysfunctional families, cases of child abuse, as well as situations where a child may be at risk.
Calls will be received by the Guardianship and Trusteeship Department at 54-64-34. Residents will not only be able to report worrying information but also receive advice on the protection of minors' rights. Questions will be answered by the head of the Children's Rights Protection Department, Oksana Mikhalitsyna.
In addition, round-the-clock emergency service phone lines continue to operate in Kirov. To report a child in danger call 8-800-200-19-10, contact the Interior Ministry's trust line (UMVD) at 589-777, or call the police at 02 (or 102 from a mobile phone).
