In a Kirov cafeteria, food was being prepared from unknown meat.
It turned out that sole proprietor Aslizlova S.M., responsible for the canteen, used raw meat and fish without the appropriate veterinary certificates.
"On December 11, the canteen prepared ready-to-eat dishes (herring "under a fur coat", ham cocktail, pork in sauce with vegetables, pork goulash, pork baked with vegetables, etc.) from raw materials — livestock products that arrived without veterinary accompanying documents," the agency wrote.
Such documents are needed to confirm the safety of the products, to trace their origin and to ensure that the animal was not suffering from infectious diseases.
An inspection showed that veterinary certificates for the products had not been issued from January 1 to December 10, 2025. Without such documents it is impossible to guarantee consumers' health, so the canteen was subjected to administrative measures.
The owner of the establishment received an official warning about the inadmissibility of violating veterinary regulations. A violation carries serious consequences, up to the closure of the catering outlet if such incidents recur.
