Yesterday, December 2, four traffic accidents occurred in Kirov Region, injuring 11 people. Thus, at 03:50 in Yuryansky District on the "Vyatka" highway, an 18-year-old driver of a VAZ-2114 collided with a stationary Hovo truck driven by a 44-year-old man. After the collision, the car ran off the road into a ditch. Three people were injured: both drivers and an 18-year-old passenger of the VAZ-2114. An investigation into the accident is currently underway; the causes and circumstances are being clarified.
The regional traffic police remind drivers of the need to maintain a safe speed appropriate to the weather and road conditions. Vehicles should also be equipped with winter tires.
