In Veresnyky, an abandoned building burned again: the fire engulfed 400 square meters.

      The Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Kirov Region reported that the fire broke out on November 29. The fire covered an area of 400 square meters; 29 rescuers and 11 units of equipment were operating at the scene.

      On November 19, a similar wooden building on the same street had already caught fire. At that time the open blaze was extinguished within 50 minutes, and specialists said the presumed cause was a deliberately introduced source of ignition, i.e., arson. The causes of the repeated fire are now being investigated.

      In addition to the large fire in Veresniki, another incident occurred in the region within 24 hours (from November 29 to 30):

      In Vyatskopolyansky District, in the village of Sludka, a private bathhouse and a garage caught fire. The fire damaged 28 square meters of structures. The firefighting effort involved 14 people and five units of equipment, including volunteers.
