Management companies will be required to report in a new way.
From January 1, management companies, homeowners’ associations, housing cooperatives and other cooperatives are required to submit annual reports on their activities in a single standard form, strictly within the established deadlines, the State Housing Inspectorate of the region reported.
The documents will be posted on the Housing and Utilities State Information System (GIS HCS) and will include a detailed list of works performed: planned versus actual figures for building maintenance and repairs, amounts of expenditures, information on ongoing repairs and cash balances. The report will also contain information on energy saving, communal resources, residents’ complaints, billing adjustments for poor-quality services, owners’ arrears and measures to recover them, as well as instances of management companies being held administratively liable.
The State Housing Inspectorate explained that the report allows monitoring of management companies’ performance and assessing how purposefully funds were spent. A unified form will make the activities of management companies more transparent and help to more effectively combat unscrupulous organizations.
The report can also be viewed in the “Gosuslugi Dom” app — just open the home page and click the “Where the money was spent” button.
