Today the Legislative Assembly committee considered a bill introducing amendments to regional legislation. It is proposed to be adopted in two readings. The document states that 30 deputies of the Legislative Assembly will be elected in single-member districts and 15 from party lists. The bill also provides for raising the maximum total expenditures of the election fund of a candidate nominated in single-member constituencies from 6 to 12 million rubles, and of an electoral association’s election fund from 70 to 140 million rubles. The committee supported the initiative. It will be considered at the Legislative Assembly’s plenary session on Thursday.
