Sokolov commented on Kadesnikov's death and announced a minute of silence.
At today's government meeting, Governor Alexander Sokolov recalled that Dmitry Kadesnikov died in an accident on November 15. He headed the Verkhoshizhemsky District from 2006 to 2018.
"A capable, farsighted administrator," Sokolov said of him. "He devoted much of his energy to public service. His successors were, in effect, his protégés. He was responsible, principled, and dedicated to his work. He commanded great respect. Many knew him beyond the region. I extend my most sincere condolences to his family, colleagues, and to all who knew him."
The governor also declared a minute of silence. After that, noting that life goes on, he moved on to other matters.
