Recently the company Medialogia published a media ranking of the heads of regional legislative bodies in Russia for October 2025. It is based on the media index — a measure of the qualitative state of the information environment created by the media around a person. The higher its value, the more vividly and positively the media write about a person, and the more positive their image. The head of the Legislative Assembly of Kirov Oblast, Roman Beresnev, took 21st place in the latest media ranking. Over the month he moved up seven places, and his media index reached 2,207 points. For comparison: the top spot is held by a politician from Saint Petersburg (14.6 thousand points), while the last is held by one from Karachay-Cherkessia (35 points).
