The Kirov Ministry of Finance will borrow 4.5 billion from banks.

      Recall that recently the Kirov Oblast’s Ministry of Finance launched three tenders at once to find banks that would provide it with loans to close the budget deficit. As of today, they have been selected.

      Thus, Gazprombank will provide the Kirov region with 2 billion rubles. The credit line will be in effect from December 1 to April 30. The cost of the agreement is 161.34 million rubles (19.5% per annum). Alfa-Bank will provide the same amount for the period from November 17 to April 16; the contract cost is 160.51 million rubles (19.4% per annum). Finally, Khlynov Bank will provide 552 million rubles for the period from November 17 to April 16 for 43.84 million rubles (19.2% per annum).

      Note that the public debt of Kirov Oblast, as of October 1, 2025, amounts to more than 23.53 billion rubles.
