The head of a peasant farm from Kotelnichsky District was held administratively liable for violating the rules for handling pesticides and agrochemicals, Rosselkhoznadzor specialists reported.
During an inspection it emerged that the entrepreneur had failed to notify via the mass media about the planned use of pesticides on agricultural crops in the period from May to August 2025. Such notifications are mandatory because they allow beekeepers to be warned and reduce risks to bees.
The agency concluded that the entrepreneur’s actions created a threat of harm to the environment. As a result, the farmer was fined 2,000 rubles. Rosselkhoznadzor also issued a notice to remedy the violations.
