November intensive: six consecutive working days and long weekends

Saturday, November 1, will be shortened — its duration will be reduced by one hour. From November 2 to 4 the country will have a three-day holiday to mark Unity Day. That will be followed by a short working week lasting only three days — from November 5 to 7. What awaits Russians at the end of the year? The last working day will be December 30, and December 31 has been declared an official day off. This will mark the start of the main holidays — a New Year break lasting 12 days, from December 31 to January 11, 2026. The first working day in the new year will be January 12, prmira.ru reports, citing the Ministry of Labour of the Russian Federation.
