The Prosecutor’s Office of the Verkhnekamsky District of the Kirov Region conducted an inquiry following a complaint from a relative of a participant in the special military operation.
The inquiry showed that the citizen’s application for the conclusion of a social military contract and the assignment of a social coordinator to her had not been considered, and no response had been received within the 30-day period established by law, the press service of the Kirov Region Prosecutor’s Office reported.
The woman was unable to exercise her right to receive the entitled state support measures and turned to the prosecutor’s office for help. The supervisory authority initiated an administrative case under Article 5.59 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (violation of the procedure for handling citizens’ appeals). Following the review, the official found responsible was fined 5,000 rubles.
