EMERCOM officers rescued a person in a fatal car crash.
Yesterday, October 23, during the day a fatal road traffic accident occurred in the Lebyazhsky District. Near the village of Mikheevshchina, the driver of a Nissan Note passenger car, according to preliminary information, lost control, went off the road and subsequently overturned down an embankment. The driver was killed, and his passenger was injured and became trapped in the cabin.
Personnel from the 36th fire and rescue unit were dispatched to the scene. Using the hydraulic "Medved" tool, EMERCOM rescuers forced open the trunk door and pulled out the injured person. He was placed on a spinal board, removed from the vehicle and handed over to a medical team. In addition, rescuers carried out the extrication of the driver's body.
At present, the details of the incident are being clarified by specialists from the regional State Traffic Inspectorate.
