With the help of the prosecutor's office, a 5-year-old girl received compensation for injuries sustained in a traffic accident.

The Kilmezsky District prosecutor brought a claim in court on behalf of a 5‑year‑old girl who was injured in a road traffic accident. The supervisory authority demanded that the person responsible for the accident pay compensation for moral harm, and the court granted those demands.

As established, the accident occurred on January 18, 2025, near house No. 23 on Inzhenernaya Street in Kilmez. The driver of a Lada Kalina, who was not licensed to drive, struck the girl. As a result of the incident, the child sustained bruises to the pelvis and thigh and suffered severe fright.

For violating traffic rules, the man was held administratively liable under Article 12.24 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (a traffic rules violation resulting in minor or moderate harm to health) and was fined. However, the issue of compensation for moral harm remained unresolved.

At the prosecutor’s request, the court ordered the person at fault to pay money to the minor victim as compensation for the moral harm caused.
