The administration of Kirovo-Chepetsk announced the continuation of construction of Dvurechye Park. It is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2025. Pedestrian and bicycle paths are being constructed in the main part of the park and along the embankment. Asphalt has already been laid on some sections, while paving stones are being installed on others. The contractor has begun installing street furniture and outfitting recreation areas. Lighting installation has also begun — lamps will be installed along the paths. Work is actively underway next to the Dvurechye Hotel to create a dog-walking area. One of the park’s main attractions will be a fountain, which will arrive as preassembled modules.
Today, October 21, another hearing began in the criminal case against the former head of the Kirov Region Center for Tourism Development, Ruslan Mamedov, at the Pervomaisky District Court in Kirov.
Recall that the Investigative Committee for the Kirov Region reported that an investigation into a criminal case opened against Ruslan Mamedov and his former deputy, Ilya Pauzin, began in early 2025. Hearings in the case began in late September. According to the prosecutor's office, Mamedov is accused of committing official crimes for personal gain, including the embezzlement of budget funds allocated for the creation of video content for the exhibition "The Revived Canvases of the Vasnetsovs," organized for Kirov's 650th anniversary.
The defendant himself and his two lawyers were present at today's hearing. During the hearing the court questioned a witness — Mamedov's former deputy Ilya Pauzin, against whom a criminal case has also been opened.
After the questioning the court announced a recess. The session will resume at 13:30. Further details will follow.
